Managing Director: Peter Hunt

Peter, or ‘Pete’ as his friends and clients know him, is Loft Hunt’s founder and the driving passion behind the business.

Growing up in a small village on the East Durham Heritage Coast, inspired by his Grandad’s legal background, Pete actually accidently fell into the London Property Market - then ended up falling in love with it!

After finishing his Masters in Law and Legal Practice Course at University of Northumbria in Newcastle, it was his intention to move to the Capital to secure a Training Contract at a City Law firm.

After a short period working in Residential Conveyancing, having always had a passion for architecture, Pete then moved into Residential Development Sales, where he was part of the New Homes Team that won the coveted Times New Homes Agency of the year award for 2014.

After cutting his teeth there, Pete moved on to work for the Capital’s original ‘Loft’ property agency, performing almost every role imaginable - Appraisals, Acquisitions, Sales, as well as Client Account Management. During the years he sat in that seat, Pete maintained the position of highest fee earner year on year, whilst breaking the record for highest fee and highest value transaction in the brand’s history.

Through those experiences, Pete gained a reputation, not just amongst his clients and working associates such as solicitors, surveyors etc, but also, amongst the residents in the majority of loft buildings, for his educated, eloquent, honest and straightforward approach to property marketing and advice.

Some of Pete’s previous client’s have included world-leading Architects; multiple Oscar winning Actors; Grammy award winning Musicians; elite level Sportspeople; CEOs of FTSE 250 Companies, and some of the Capitals must exciting start-ups to name but a few.

Always happy to chat all things property, Pete is the person to speak to if you’re looking to either buy or sell a loft space, anywhere across London.

Outside of work, Pete can either be found on a long-distance run; exploring a new city in one of their oldly worldly pubs, or watching his beloved Sunderland AFC.

Non-Executive Director: John Hunt

John Hunt is not only a Senior Change Portfolio and PMO Delivery Director with more than 20 years of industry practice, but is also Pete’s Uncle and Godfather!

Throughout his career, John has successfully translated strategic initiatives into operational tactics to realise the required benefits of large-scale business change, managing teams of over 100 people.

John has led large and complex transformation programmes within both the public and private sector, encompassing the whole programme lifecycle from identification and initiation through to delivery and closure.

Having such a distinguished and respected Commercial Director providing guidance and advice to the Loft Hunt Team, continues to prove instrumental in making our business operations run seamlessly and efficiently.

Non-Executive Director: Anthony Hunt

Anthony, (another of Pete’s Uncles), has a lifetime career in hospitality and technology, starting out at the London Park Lane strip in operational roles for 10 years before entering technology with Micros Oracle, Asia Pacific in the 1990’s.

Implementation of hospitality software, product management and regional leadership have been hallmarks of Anthony’s career, running the operations of 17 countries for 15 years.

As VP of Product and Strategy for the past 6 years, Anthony has developed a new generation of hospitality platform, framed by decades of experience across Europe, Asia, America, Australia and China.

Anthony’s management and tech expertise ensure that Loft Hunt’s technical processes are at the forefront of today’s ever-evolving commercial climate.
