Listening is a skill that, if exercised correctly, is the most powerful weapon in a buying agent’s armoury.
Understanding our client’s brief is our single most important job – it is, after all, the only way we can properly advise and ultimately help them purchase their new loft.
By doing this, we avoid the age-old agency standard of sending over every property that’s a close match and hope a positive review comes back.
We only present properties that tick the majority of our client’s boxes, with the odd curveball thrown in there if we feel there’s a very good reason for making the pitch!

Our work has taught us that buyers looking for something ‘a bit different’ typically have very specific requirements – but not only that, they also tend to have needs that they may not even necessarily be aware of themselves.
For example – a portrait artist who is looking for a north-facing live/work unit in a converted warehouse may feel they have a good idea about want they want when the register with Loft Hunt. However, in this scenario, we would advise that client that a top floor unit converted Victorian School would be a better option, as the triple-height north-facing light gives a better lighting perspective for their work.
